Getting My Files on Limewire I'm working on getting some video stuff I have done on to limewire, I've droped some MPEG's into the shared file folder, and they come up in my Library window in limewire, but then when I search for them with limewire it does not find them, I don't know if this is beacuse you can't search for the file which come from your own computer or if I need to do something more to get them avalable on Limewire. if anyone has any tips they would be very welcome andrew brooks PS if anyone has the time the 1st file I have put on is called "Escape Pod Losing Control" so if anyone gets the chance to take a look that would be cool. Thanks |
That sounds cool, and not seeing your own files is normal. The 'Hits' column in the Library Pane will tell you the file is visible to your part of the network. I just did a quick search for 'escape pod losing control', but nothing yet. I usually have better luck by also adding the extension, but wasn't sure if it should be .mpg or .mpeg |
