Question time out

When i download a file, for example a mp3 file, and it's 100% ready, it then says it's "saving" the file. After that limewire times out for a couple of minutes. I can't do anything with it anymore. I can use other programmes during that time out. After a while the downloaded file disapeares and i can go on again.
Does anybody know's a solution for this.

And i also upgraded to limewire pro recently. But it isn't any quicker then the free lime wire. I use a cable connection and mac OSX 10.1
