Few search results since installing router
 

Since installing my new router I get roughly 1/10th of the results that I get when I connect directly to my DSL modem.

There are a lot of posts dealing with firewalls and ports and I suspect this may be the problem, but most of these posts have to do with uploading problems and not being able to connect at all.

A comprehensive solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

If you are firewalled you cannot download from other firewalled hosts, - so LimeWire will not display any results from other firewalled hosts. Popular queries should still return as many results as before, though.

I use a netgear router as well, and I did configure it to forward Gnutella connections to the one computer running LimeWire using the Rules/Inbound connections configuration in the router setup web page. I also used the LimeWire Expert/Firewalls setting to tell LimeWire that I am behind a NAT Router. After these steps it works as if directly connected.
