Default Anyone hu has the iPod and knows ALOT bout Macs....... HELP ME

for christmas i got a new computer (emac), and i have ALL of my music (about 45 files) in my old computer. And when i plugin the ipod (which has all of the songs in it) it says : "the ipod is linked to another itunes music library. Do you want to exchange the link to this itunes music library and replace all existing songs and playlists on this iPod w/ those from this library?" After reading i clik no cuz i want to keep my songs, but wen i go to limewire to play the music they seem to be locked and they wont let me play them, brun them, or transfer them into a cd. Can any1 please help me?

To keep people from easily tranfering songs from person to person (copywright stuff) the Ipod and your new computer will not get along unless you let it configure your ipod thus erasing all the lovely songs and playlists you currently have. I got the jones deal when my older ipod crashed and I had to get a new one. In your old computer lies the actual mp3 or wave files you need to locate them and either transfer them to an external hard drive or burn them to cd and import each one of them over to your new emac's itunes, they will get stored in your itunes library then you can add them to your recently erased and properly addressed ipod. Hope this helps Mp2
