Thumbs down Extent file allocation errors from Limewire

I am disgusted with limewire, this problem has been around for a few previous versions I have found out the hard way, and it seems the newest version of Limewire has it.

3.6.15 running OS X 10.2.8

Second hard drive almost toasted, I just formatted this new drive a few weeks ago and limewire has caused dozens of overwritten files, my other drive took 20 hours to fix with disk warrior, tech tool along with Drive 10.

Now my nice new big drive is loaded with the same problems,
thanks Limewire for releasing another version with the same disasterous problems!

I am removing limewire today, going to use the other guys stuff, I will monitor this site but for now, limewire likes to write files where ever it chooses !

To dangerous to use..

You most certainly have a different problem, LimeWire probably just produces enough I/O and CPU load to uncover the problem. A user levek application without kernel drivers like LimeWire is not able to produce such a file system problem on OS X. I would recommend to check your hardware (especially drive cableing) and any suspect third party drivers.
