Unhappy OSX error message "no default app" won't install?

Hey all,

I'm using Limewire on my OS9 system and downloading some thing for my other OSX system. When the download is complete, it looks fine. I click "install" on my OS9 system, but and it starts up and tries, but tells me it's only made for OSX. No prob, right? I'll just transfer it over to my OSX system.

But, when I do that... and click install on my OSX system, I get an error message that says "no default application has been chosen to open this document"

OSX isn't recognizing it for some reason.

Any ideas on how I can fix this problem? I think it's just a normal VISE installer. But, Panther just won't recognize it.

Either use the mac classic version on classic, or download & install the OSX version on OSX. Don't do the transfer in the middle, it's probably causing problems.
