How to uninstall Limewire 3.8.6 and reinstall 3.6.14
 

I've installed LimeWire 3.8.6, hoping that the nasty wireless connection bug was solved. But in vain! Now I want to go back again to version 3.6.14. Therefore I removed 3.8.6 in the application folder and also some files that I found with the Finder application under /user/library/preferences. But stil it is impossible for me to reinstall 3.6.14, I get a 'null' (???) message. The 3.6.14 installer refuses to install itself on HD1. I had no problem reinstalling 3.6.14 after installing 3.8.5. What did I do wrong? Someone has a suggestion?
