Monitor looses picture I have a beige G3 with a G4 500 mhz processor. I have 350+ mgs of ram. Here is the problem. After 20 seconds of launching the application, my monitor clicks off. It doesn't lose power, it just goes dark, as if it lost the signal. I am using a CTX monitor which connects to the mac via a 9 switch belkin adapter. Any ideas why this may be happening? |

this isn't an answer, but you're the first to report that one. Ouch. I've used an old Apple 15 monitor on my iBook with LW a while back, but didn't see any problems. I guess you've already tried resetting any 'sleep' settings for that monitor. |

Hey, I have a Beige g3 desktop, and it goes black at times, only when I'm actually using it. It seems like the ADB bus (keyboard and mouse) get frozen too. I'm suspecting I need to replace the PRAM battery. Let me know if you solved your problem yet. -LisleSinger |

did you try asking on the Apple forums http://discussions.info.apple.com/ or the forum for your upgrade/accelerator? Doesn't look like anyone here has a quick answer. Good luck. |
