Connecting from behind Firewall?

Hi all

Just subscribed - having connection issues.

I am on a network that is firewalled for sure. How do you reconfigure OS X.1.5 to accept Gnutella?

Sorry if this is an old chestnut but I gaven't got the time to search through 57 pages of threads!

Cheers and thanks for reading

I don't think 10.1.5 included a built in firewall (search your Apple help menu for more info). On 10.2/10.3 it's in the System Preferences->Sharing settings.

Ask the person responsible for the firewall settings about allowing two-way connectuons on port 6346, or if they would recommend a proxy server.
