![]() I just lost all of my iTunes files, desktop folders and preferences. Like a fool, I have been using FileVault to encrpyt my files. When "reclaiminng space" File Vault was not able to deal with LimeWire not shutting (I neglected to make sure it was completely off) and BLAMMO - tons of my files are now gone. Luckily everything on my Macintosh HD was Ok and I have backed most everything up. If you are using LimeWire and fileVault it is a good idea to put your mp3 and video files in a folder that FileVault will not encrypt and/or simply don't use FileVault. PS - I am using Mac OS 10.3 - theoretically these issues were fixed in this version..... |
