Switch to preferences with cmd-,

hi,

Standard for OSX applications is to switch to the preferences with cmd-, (command-comma).

Could you include this in the next version?
Pressing cmd-, grows completely intuitive, when you work long enough and I'm always a bit irritated, when it doesn't work (stumbled over it thrice now with LimeWire...).

Besides that: Great App!

The interface also grows better and better with every release (might even beat Acquisition someday, though not quite in simplicity, because Acquisition abandoned some features to make it simpler (which might be exactly the right thing when yo target first-time users, but not for long-time users, at least not, while your intnerface grows better and better). I'm sstill using Acq, but thinking about switching back to LW (because I know performance will be the same, same core).

The Preferences Menu is pretty much out of LimeWire's control. The Menu is provided by Apple and the API allows only to hook up for Events...

In case it's important for you then check out the current Java 1.4.2 DP...

installed Java 1.4.2 DP1, but no solution.

Don't know why.

Well, Tiger will hopefully sort it out ;)

Hmm, just an idea but switch OSX to English. I've just tried German and it didn't worked.

It works if you run with Jag. I've noticed this for a few weeks. The same English LW version (both official and jums) have the keboard shortcut on Jag, but not Panther.

That gets curious now. I'm running Panther...

Yes, switching to english did it, don't know why (but I switched back to german now).

I even had to set y prefs anew.

well--can't get Panther--fresh install on an erased HD a week or so ago--to show the shortcut.
Tried for a few hours (logging in as French, German, Canadian English, US English) with both the official 3.9.8 beta and the jum319 builds.

For me it sufficed to switch the system to english (didn't choose American or UK just english) and then restart LimeWire, to get the shortcut.
