Unhappy Help Limewire has limited my Host connections ????

Before I had to re-install OS X and Limewire Pro. I had atleast 30 to 50 hosts connections in the CONNECTION TAB of Limewire Pro. Now after re-installing OS X (10.2.8) and Limewire Pro 3.8.5, I only can get 7 host as the max. Does anybody know how to increase host connections. By the way I am connected thru broadband via cable...

Please reply anybody..

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Edward E.

I figure you have to go to the Preferences and set the amount of simultaneous dlds to a higher number; look for a post by ursula under a thread called "need for speed" (yet again) for precise details on what this number should be, as too high a number will also hinder you I think.

renegaderoa,

you were an UltraPeer and had thus so many connections. You're now running in Leaf mode and once LimeWire knows enough about your connection capabilities it maybe decides to switch to UltraPeer mode again.

For more information read this FAQ note.
