Upgraded to Pro, see no improvement
 

I can say I'm underwhelmed. I paid my $19 and upgraded to Pro. After I finally determined that I really had Pro (there's nothing that says you have it), I still see deadly slow downloads and the same search results. What happened to the "turbocharged download speed" and "better search results" that was advertized?

BTW, I am on MacOS X 10.2.8 (Jaguar).

Can I get my money back? Because this is no better than the free version. :-(

Think of it as a donation, as many people do. One can operate LW for free and the developers and other people that spend time to make such great applications for us (again, for free) also tell us that if we want, we can also give them some money for it.
You (and many many others) having slow dld speeds is due to the fact that your LW is probably not configured to get the best out of your connection. That's what I had first, then, going through these forums, I learned how to configure it right. As a proof, I have reached my maximum dld speed with it.

Okay, I'm willing to accept that the app is not tuned properly. Can you point me to a "tuning" area in the forums? :confused:

I still think that they should not advertise these great improvements after the upgrade to Pro if it is not so.:mad:

Before tuning anything, read the forum rules. I'm saying this because if you did, then you would know that you'd have to provide us with (at least for this case) connection speed information (among others)

4.0.6 pro for limewire

To fine tune you have to also tell me what connection speed you have: DLD and Upload speeds. Sign in as member in these forums (it's free) and PM me with the info.
