java problems

im using panther (10.3) and every time i try and open limewire i got a warning saying "uncaught exception in main method: java.lang.runtimeException: settings dir not writable" this only happens on my user, no other users are affected, can someone please tell me whats wrong and what i need to do to fix it? thanks
