mulls is flying high
Default limewire just won't connect (no matter how many times i restart it)

i start up limewire, but it doesn't connect. this happened on my PC (im on a macintosh laptop), so i did what i had done before, and restarted limewire...same thing. i changed the preferences so that limewire didn't try to autoconnect on startup, and tried manually connecting...still nothing happened. help please?

Did you try deleting the preferences file?

A quote from Murasame the great sword maker: When LW is open, click Tools->Options & go to Bug report & click for an example. In the window that appears scroll down to the part that says: "Recieved incoming this session". If it says ‘True’ then LW has no problem with firewalls, but if 'False' it does have a prob.
Do you have a router? These themselves can act as firewalls. You'd need to open up a port for LW. As with mine I had to open port 6346 so I could ge uplds for p2p. Or is the firewall on your pc which your laptop is feeding thru?
