Cannot Remove Limewire from OS 10.1.5

I have limewire installed on Mac OS 10.1.5. When I try to drag it from the Applications folder, I get a message telling I can't do that because it is "owned by the root." One thread said that I could use "Show Info" and unlock it. That does not work with my version of OSX. Show Info tells me that Limewire is owned by "System," and that I am part of group "Administrator."

Please help!!

If you have a dual startup machine, startup in OS9. Otherwise use a startup disk. It might also be a good idea for you to repair permissions; ie: do a SAFE Start & Permissions Repair Also depending on exaclty where you've located LW, you can select the info of the parent folder & give yourself all permissions access.
