corrupt files and bogus ip's.
 

hey guys,

im sure you guys have all had the same problem, waiting for a file to download and once it does, you try and open and then an error comes up "corrupt file" well this is happening alot to me now and i have lime wire 4.1.5 pro and i heard something about a security update that blocks known i.p's sending out corrupt data and lets you continue with safe users. do you guys know about this?
where i can find it or if its fake..? i dont want to download off someone or get it in .zip from a dodgy site. i'd rather get it from a secured site like download.com or limewire?

sorry if this has already been posted or if its in the wrong section i had a look around but couldnt find a similar post.

actually i read some other posts and downloaded and played on mplayer and it works fine,
so mplayer can play corrupted files then which is great.

It can also preview them. Just try to have it play some of your larger incompletes.
