LW 4.2.4 (Pro) - "Quality-Idle" How to I get normal operation? Running OSX 10.2.8 on DSL (512k/256k). Had been running 4.0.8 Pro with quality - turbo. Purchased and installed 4.2.4 Pro this morning. Connection quality reads "Idle" regardless of settings. I push IP and have the firewall set to allow Port 6346. Ultrapeer and OOB are enabled. One current host is shown as connected with 40-50 total hosts. How do I restore normal operation to LimeWire? For me, normal is defined as 6-7 current hosts and 200+ total hosts. Best Regards, azfred |

LimeWire will go into Idle mode if it detects that you're not using your computer for 30 minutes or more. Once you start using the computer again, it will go out of idle mode. Are you seeing Idle mode while you're using the computer? |

That's very odd. Do other programs, like iChat, show that you're idle when you're not? Also, if you don't mind losing your settings and having to type some in again, try opening LimeWire's Preferences and clicking 'Restore Defaults' and then restart LimeWire? |
