How do I delete folders? I'm not referring to the main shared folder stored at the top of the library page, but the folders that you create when you save your playlists. I'm trying to delete some of them, but don't know how. |
I don't even have a clue how to SAVE a playlist in LW. Could you tell me how?! Everytime I select a location there's no save option. To answer your question, you could simply delete them manually I'd presume (outside of LW.) LW does not have the ability to delete folders. Use Search if you're not sure where they are (Apple key & S.) |
Once you've created your playlist, Highlight all of it and press 'SAVE' at the bottom of the page. Then, press 'OPEN', type your playlist title in the field labeled 'FILES', and press 'SELECT'. That should do it for you. |
Tried it again as prescribed & it didn't work. Have a look at this to see what I mean: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=30502 |
Wow. Ididn't even know that could be done. I |
Oops! Sorry about the post. Anyway. I didn't know you could do that. I've been using LimeWire the whole time. I don't know why it dosen't work for you. Try pressing 'SAVE' first, then highlighting playlist, then 'SAVE' again(seriously), then opening the location, then press select. I hope that works. Thanks for the iTUNES info! |
Tried it, no go! I can't press save & then highlight playlist b/c the window that opens stops me. What did you want to know about iTunes? With LW 4.2 iTunes creates a LW playlist. However all the tunes can also be found in the main iTunes library. Make sure you've got the most up to date iTunes. Oh by the way you can edit your own posts. In edit mode (press edit button below post) you have a delete option at the top right of the page. I've deleted it for you anyway. Mod's priveledges! lol ;) |
