![]() Does anyone know a way that I can just give my IP address which would allow my friend to directly access my UpLoad directory. Since there are some large files (600 Megs or more) I can't send those via e-mail. thanks |

![]() you can email your friend a "magnet" link (like a web link, but for LimeWire/gnutella files). right-click (control-click) on the file in the LimeWire Library, and choose "magnet" details. Copy the link and email it to your friend. When your friend clicks the link, it should fire up his or her limewire, and begin connecting and downloading from you (if you have open slots available). Cheers |

![]() Oh--I'm not sure when magnet details were added to LW. Just get a recent free version of LW (the Pro is worth supporting) Really though--4.2.6 has really improved a great deal over 3.6.14 (that's almost a year old). btw--here's the link to the changelog http://www.limewire.com/english/cont..._history.shtml |
