change the opening application from quick time to another on OSX

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the application a program opens with?

There's a few ways more or less adding up to the same: Highlight that file you wish to open within LW. Then Press Apple & i keys. You'll then see an option for Open with... choose your application. Then also choose always open with...
