Help with a LIMEWIRE Crash!!
 

I am completely stumped on this one. The new upgrade from Limewire will pop up on my screen with the "upgrade to Pro" pop-up window on top of it. I can see that my sharing is excellent so it seems as though the connections no problem but when I close the "upgrade to Pro" window the tips window is is there trying to find the "tip of the day" and this is when Limewire "unnexpectedly quits" every single time. I've tried everything at this point - upgrading Java, checking firewalls and sharing folders and I am baffled! I am using Mac G5 Jaguar OSX. If anyone has had this problem or knows how I might be able to fix it I would forever be thankful!

If you can, tick the don't show again option box on tips of the day.

How much ram do you have?

When you said upgraded Java, did you mean via apple's softw update program. If yes, then may I suggest you use the 'Standalone' Java installer: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...update142.html Installing over the net can cause issues. That's why standalone installers often fix issues. By standalone I mean the installer has everything inclusive. There's nothing xtra to obtain over the net.

Thanks L.O.R for helping out! I've tried numerous times to click the "do not show Tips" button and while the computer is thinking it doesn't even have a chance to register the action before it quits out of the application. I've just downloaded the Java link that you gave me and I'm going to give that a shot, however, I think this may very well be the same Java download I've already tried.
