How Can I Convert Real Audio Files To MP3? Is there software available (hopefully free, but not necessarily so) that will convert real audio files, wave files, and wma files to MP3 files, so i can play them on iTunes and burn them onto a CD? Thanks for the help. |
There's lots of converters around. Google it. Seriously, google how to convert wma to mp3. For Real Player files I have a link but it's a commercial/shareware program: http://www.rmconverter.com/ & I think Audio Hijack, from Rogue Amoeba http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijack/ & WireTap from Ambrosia Software http://www.ambrosiasw.com/ OK here's a search I did for FREE wma converters: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0-...49&dlsize=&ca= And I think MusicMatch might be your best bet for rm files. I think Winamp has a plugin for it. Anyone else? |
What a bummer! I just realised you're using OSX! Silly me! iTunes can convert wma files as long as they're not licenced. The same goes with Audion which can import/export xtra types than iTunes. Audio Hijack will recognise both formats: http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijackpro/features.php |
