![]() Howdy Y'all, can any of you clever peeps help me figure out my connection problem? I get the cannot connect 'cause of firewall message on startup. However, Xfactor tells me i'm not firewalled, and the port 6346 test page comes up successfully. I am connected to the uni network and cannot connect to Gnutella, OpenFT nor Fasttrack. I can only assume P2P networks are being blocked, but how? And more importantly can I get round it? I'm running a G5 iMac on a T1 network with OS X. Thanks in advance |

![]() Uni's can block particular apps from running via a few techniques. One suggstion: Try force ip for port 6346; see: Force IP instructions & sample image & 2 posts after that. Also see: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...700#post114700 |
