Most songs goto Itunes, but a few won't
 

Probably 95 percent of my limewire songs automatically are copied into Itunes. The other day I downloaded half a dozen Mp3 songs, and only a couple of them made it into Itunes. I even tried dragging and dropping the stubborn ones, but they would not go into Itunes or anywhere else.

Does anyone know what could be happening? I'm running OSX Panther and the latest version of Itues.

This happens to me often when i'm using my Pc but the problem is that it isn't a file that i-tunes can open. It can only be open using a diferent mp3 player. Maybe try to use Quicktime.

That's right about mac iTunes. It doesn't recognise all mp3 formats. Such as Ogg Vorbis.

For mac the best alternative is Audion which is now free & recognises all mp3 formats (though not sure about rm.) Audion: http://www.panic.com/audion/

For windows I'd suggest the best backup player is QCD: http://www.quinnware.com/ (it's free & has built-in codecs & plays ALL audio formats!!!)
