Hmm interesting! Not sure why. I wonder if it's related to static electricity or something (just thinking out allowed.) I hope you have your comp set to never sleep overnight. That might definitely affect communication b/w router & comp. Is it USB or Ethernet & if it's USB is it USB2 or ...? The earlier G4's USB card only had very slow usb ability which could cause probs with modems/routers.
