limewire to itunes library

Hi, one of two problems, I purchased limewire pro on my apply power book g4 and it works fine. But when I try to sign-on with my sons window based system (windows XP media center edition) it brings up the non-Pro version. I have gone into the forum and applied suggested corrections w/no success.

Second and bigger problem. The downloads that we choose from LW make it into itunes under a folder w/a music note on it, this folder contains all of the downloads and seems to be fine. the problem we cannot highlight, drag or burn these selections and they don't list w/in the itunes main library. I tired to use apple support w/no luck they will not help w/LW software issues. We are able to import music from burned and non-burned CD's into to the itunes library by draging and droping.

Would love help Thanks.

Thanks Stief, But we are not sharing our music, I am downloading new songs into his windows machine from LW. They download into the folder as above but the songs are missing in itunes main library. The same procedure is used on my mac's and they automatically file into the itunes main library in the background without doing anything, I don't know if the mac's have a differant way of saving the downloads but it works much faster and easier maybe its because itunes and mac's are both (apples) products.

To get Pro on your son's machine, use his browser to go to LW's Pro support page at http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...pportpro.shtml

Click on the link about using your email to lookup a new Pro page, and download a Pro for that machine.

As for the iTunes problem, those files are probably on a different machine, and so can't be altered except by the user of that machine. You could edit yours, your son can edit his, but bothof you can listen to each other's.

Cheers
