I have 10.3.9.

I have updated Java, upated the security, removed everything related to limewire, restarted in safe mode, repaired my permissions, reinstalled limewire 4.8.1, double checked my firewall settings and it still sticks on 1 bar and says connecting.

What gives???

How does this work on certain macs and not others?

Can we get our money back?

This is total B.S. that something simple can't work. My older version of LW worked great. I shouldn't have thrown it away when I purchased the upgrade. Now nothing works.

I have spent hours trying to fix this problem. I have emailed support with no answers to this problem.

I have tried EVERYTHING listed to do on this board. Nothing works.

I have re-installed JAVA and the security updates 3 times, deleted LW and reinstalled. I have done everything any of the posts on macs say to do.

NOTHING.

I am not a comuter idiot either. I know my way around and I should not have to be doing this to get a program to work.

Why can't LW have an app that works? I have never experienced an issue until this version that I shouldn't have wasted my money on.

If you have installed Norton AV: UNINSTALL right now!!! (they also discontinued mac support that lame company).

If not, I'd try installing the combo update 10.3 to 10.3.9, it always fixes some things gone bad. No risk either, just be sure you repair permissions of your drive with disk utility before and after the update.

Well if you've read all the threads on this forum & can't find an answer then good luck to you. The search button does wonders sometimes u know. Just as well I'm a volunteer & don't get paid to put up with a Troll. Perhaps you should see http://www.limewire.com/english/content/refund.shtml B4U start making judgements & start trying to solve your own problem instead of blaming it on others. Chances R your system is out of order & I'm sure I if I put toether the 3 most well known mac utilities that they'd find errors & problems on your system.

Always nice to meet someone who pretends they have tried everything. This is a damned large forum & many solutions have come foreward & many that haven't been made obvious in the Stickies on the forum. You did not get it ccurle, we are *not* related to LW LLC, this a forum with support from volonteers. The support here is a privilege, not a right.
