Okay....The version is LW 4.8.1 and I have the Java 1.4.2_03. I have talked to Admin and she said that she has no idea what is wrong with the dl's or any of that. Not a very good admin if you ask me. I could not dl the Scene video, it needed more sources. I dont know what else to do. |

Chenchi, find the network admin (not just an admin). Our school has a local admin, but the local admin doesn't control the routers or the port allocations. You want to find the person who has access to the computer that controls the final access to the internet. We can't do any more here: we don't have access to the routers that control what packets are allowed onto your school network. It's like me asking you to set up my Internet Service Providers machine Anyway, best wishes |

Forum notifications have been down, and I thought this thread was finished! Anyway, use the search button to look for posts about how to remove LW. It could probably be done faster than waiting for someone to happen by and notice your post. Basically--trash the LW folder in the Applications folder, and delete the LimeWire folder and files in the Home Library folder. The search will probably reveal any more details as you think of them. Cheers |
