AVI file not playing...
 

I have Mac OS 10.3.9 I'm currently downloading an "avi" file. I tried to preview it, but Limewire says it is unable to open it because it is not a file that Quicktime understands.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? I thought that Quicktime plays "AVI" files?

TO PLAY AVI USING QUICKTIME...

1.) Download DIVX

2.) Download AC3 codec

just use google to search for these..


hope this helps.. most avi's play but there are a few ones that dont... but 99% work
