Shutdowns I am using Limewire 4.8.1 on OSX 10.3.9. I have downloaded and installed all updates including Java. When Limewire starts up it loads to the console screen with the pop-up "Do you want to upgrade?". After I respond in any way (later, yes, why?) the Limewire program unexpectly shuts down. The Mac Console gives me the following information: [Fatal Error] :336:1: Content is not allowed in trailing section. [Fatal Error] :336:1: Content is not allowed in trailing section. So. Either the XML page LW try to open has problem - but in this case, many LW must have the same problem-, either there is a problem in the Java of your 10.3.9 I would suggest you follow this Apple article KB for trying to solve your problem. Most Java issue in the 10.3.9 update (which is a very bad Apple's update) are solved by applying again the Java update :p Most Java and 10.3.9 issue with LW are described in the Stickies of this forum Phil |
