hey i was just wondering if i downloaded the mac version of limewire does that mean that it just searches mac users?

because i mite only want a mac application that also has a windows version (halo for example)

I do not think LW_for_Mac are restricted to a search within other owners of LW_for_Mac.

Mac application are generally Stuffed (.sit, .sitx) or images (.dmg), sometimes zipped(.zip)... so add these extensions in your search fields.

If you see files with a .exe extension, many chances they are for PCs.

A little bit more complicate for .zip files..but when unzipped, you quickly discover (icons,..) if they are form the Empire or not ;-)
