Default Limewire and MacOS Tiger 10.4.1

Hi everybody....I just bought myself a brand new iBook for college, and like on my previous Macs I installed Limewire. However on my new iBook with Tiger when i tried to run the program, the Limewire icon would bounce in the dock for a little bit, and then disapear. I tried following the advice that was offered in other forums, about the script language, and installing bsx from the start up disc, but to no avail. I've also tried to install the beta version, and it still didnt work. If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated, I really love limewire, and do not want to switch to another program....thanks

That problem is generally a java one. Try these

1. SAFE Boot & Repair Permissions

2. Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption

3. If these don't work, re-install the OS 10.4.1 update using the standalone installer (downld to comp 1st & then install!): http://www.apple.com/support/downloa...pdate1041.html
