1.7 doesn't retain settings
 

OS 10.1, or 10.0.4, I am trying to point LimeWire at a large directory full of music, inside my home directory, but it defaults back to LimeWire/shared every time the program starts. Has anyone else seen this?

I have the same problem. I have to reset the preferences each time I quit and restart limewire 1.7 for Mac OS 10.1.

Same problem here. I ended up opening the limewire.props file in textedit and changed the settings from there. After doing that, the settings finally stayed so that I don't have to reset them every time.

with 1.6 it varied, but with 1.7, its been ok for me runing 10.1 (G4733)

1. Set up limewire just like you want it to be
2. Go to the file menu and select "exit"
3. Relaunch limewire and voila, settings are now saved

If you "quit" instead of using exit the settings won't be saved. Worked for me anyway.

FINALLY. For me it was "close" not "exit" but it worked great none the less.
