![]() Hi guys, I need help figuring out how to make LimeWire & iTunes integration work. I have tried searching in the forums but I couldn't find a thread that has similar problems to mine. If this is a duplicate thread, please forgive me... Lacking patience... I've used LimeWire in Windows XP, and the integration with iTunes worked. A folder shows up in iTunes whenever I run LimeWire and iTunes simultaneously. I'm now using an iMac, OS X 10.4.1 & iTunes 4.9 Preferences, both iTunes & LimeWire has been set accordingly. No folder shows up in iTunes. I wonder why. Hope anyone has an answer/suggestion as to what I can do to resolve this matter. Thanks in advance. |

![]() I'm fairly certain the playlist doesn't appear until next time you open LW & iTunes. The odd thing is I noticed I have a LW playlist in iTunes despite having disabled this option. And it included titles added today. So I can only guess it's because this playlist already exists & iTunes is set for Share my music. That's got me a little confused. lol ![]() ![]() |

![]() i now realise there are two playlists that apear ... one is an ordinary list which adds all new tunes from limewire as they are added. I listen to these and then clear them from the i tunes "limewire" list. The other list is "hobo's" limewire tunes... a list that cannot be edited from within, which is a list of all I am sharing on LW. It is possible that this only appears when I am connected to another local computer which is often The first list is great and I could not be with out it. it also fails to show a tune if it has failed to load into itunes, which happens occasionally, sometimes because the file is faulty or an Albumwrap or some other format that itunes fails to recognise ... and sometimes for no apparent reason. It is really useful to check this list against completed transfers in LW, before clearing that list. |
