![]() Hi, I had an older version of Limewire and want to update it to the current 4.9.11. However everytime I download it I only get an excel document on the desktop titled LimewireSoftOSX which, when I attempt to open, gives the message 'The workbook you opened contains automatic links to information in another workbook. Would you like to update this workbook with changes made to the other workbook?' If I say no it opens as a page of nonsense text, and if I say yes and attempt to source the existing workbook, no matter what I choose it still comes up as nonsense. I am currently running OS 10.3.9 - from what I've read in the forum so far, it seems there might be a clash between this operating system and the Limewire software. I have also tried uninstalling my existing Limewire version and starting from scratch but to no avail... Would appreciate any ideas... |

![]() It sounds more like a browser issue. You can try deleting your browser history & cache & try again, or else, try a different browser such as Safari or another. I think Netscape has shown this problem & downlds an incomplete dmg file. If still problems reply back. Make sure you get your LW from here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml |
