Default Disk Error??? I'm confused (again)

Hi all,

I've just had an error message come up next to a couple of my downloads saying "Disk error". What does this mean? My downloads were nearly finished so as you can imagine I'm nearly in tears!

Also, has anyone tried the Linux version of Limewire? If yes, thoughts? I'm thinking of changing my Acer over to Mandriva Linux.

Thanks heaps,
Stu :-)
