launching files

I just installed osX on my G4 desktop and got the osx version of Limewire. Everything works great but I can not launch my files. To play a song I have to open itunes and "add to playlist". I never had this problem before I got the OSX version, Does anyone know what the problem is or have similar experience?

Same Problem!

Hey,

I am having the EXACT same problem. I am on my friends computer. Running a G4 with OS X. I happen to have Limwire on my own computer, a G4 running 0S 9.1
On my computer, I can double click the file, and it will open. I can either click it in the SHARED tab, or in my LIBRARY tab. It doesn't even have to be completely downloaded yet. It just plays what it has so far.
But, on my FRIENDS computer, I could not do any of this. I tried chaning the Quicktime settings, and the iTunes settings but am not getting anywhere.

So if anyone can help, there are now 2 people who need assistance! Thanks.

what ever the limewire issues are, i just open the files from the saved folder (double click) to make sure they are complete. iTunes runs them from there, no playlist is required.
