Consistent, bizarre search results I've just upgraded to Limewire 4.9.11 Pro, and am on a Mac running OS 10.2.8. Everything seems to be working fine, except that *every time* I search for *anything*, a dozen or so files are found first: -- they're all porn files -- they're all wmvs -- they all show the same quantity, though it varies -- they're all 302.8 KB in size Limewire does also find the correct files, but I'd like to know why this happens and how to stop it - it's annoying. Thanks in advance for any help. |
Go to LW's preferences>Filters>Keyword & add the words .jpg & .wmv You can see example here: Sample image of adding keywords to filter As a mac user I also add .exe, .asf & .wma Oh & also tick the Ignore Adult content & press apply button. |
Many thanks -- I did set Limewire to "ignore adult content" and that solved the problem. Still it's odd that, otherwise, the same bunch of files would show up no matter *what* video file I search for. |
