![]() Hello, I apologise if this has been brought up here before, but I can't find the information anywhere. I have an wireless router and LimeWire has UPNP on as default in options. Too my knowledge my D-Link router is UPNP compatible. On the left bottom corner of the screen it says LimeWire has detected a firewall, although I'm connected turbo charged. It seems to be working fine, I can download and so on... I decided to do a test, in options on LimeWire I selected Manual Port Forward and did the usual port forward configuration on the router. Started LimeWire up again and now it shows that it hasn't detected a firewall. Can somebody tell me if UPNP is supported on the Mac OS X? I got the impression from reading various websites that it was supported on Microsoft Windows only and because of my little test, now I'm bit paranoid I'm not fully connected on the network. Thanks in advance ![]() |

![]() Yes it is. Somewhat the code sometimes has a hard time with routers. Manual port forwarding is still the best and most reliable option. Ciao
