Movies - quicktime/windowsmedia I downloaded a video file on Limewire, a mpg, and quicktime says it doesn't understand the file when I try to play it. I downloaded Windows Media Player which says it doesn't support that file format. I would love some advice from the strong smart people. Help! |
Likely a MPEG-2 file... QuickTime supports only MPEG-1 and MPEG-4 out of the box and for MPEG-2 you must buy an extra component. Get this Player instead... http://www.videolan.org/vlc |
Haha! Thank you! It worked! |
