![]() I got Power PC G4 Mac OSX Tigr 10.4.2 SSL and bought LimeWire Pro. It worked for a while and recently immediatly crash at start up when it gets turbo speed. I reinstall several times LimeWire I removed firewall and added Gnutella 6346-6346 as TCP and UDP I tried to reinstall java 142 but my mac refuses answering that it is already installed:I still get from Installer that "this volume does not contain any Java version that needs to be updated" I tried the move kmag proposed (1) Go to Macintosh HD -> System -> Library -> Frameworks -> JavaVM.framework -> Versions -> Current -> Resources -> MacOS (2) Now control-click JavaApplicationStub and select "copy 'JavaApplicationStub'". (3) Next go to Macintosh HD -> Applications -> LimeWire (4) Control-click on the LimeWire application and select "Show Package Contents" (5) Go to Contents -> MacOS (6) Control-click inside the MacOS folder and select "Paste item". (7) Inside the MacOS folder, rename LimeWire to OldLimeWire and then rename JavaApplicationStub to LimeWire[SIZE=1](1) Go to Macintosh HD -> System -> Library -> Frameworks -> JavaVM.framework -> Versions -> Current -> Resources -> MacOS (2) Now control-click JavaApplicationStub and select "copy 'JavaApplicationStub'". (3) Next go to Macintosh HD -> Applications -> LimeWire http://www.gnutellaforums.com/images/icons/icon9.gif (4) Control-click on the LimeWire application and select "Show Package Contents" (5) Go to Contents -> MacOS (6) Control-click inside the MacOS folder and select "Paste item". ![]() Then re-install your Java. Get this Java http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...update142.html & if it refuses to reinstall, go to your Receipts folder & remove the Java142Update2.pkg from the receipts folder. ie: go to OSX folder>Library>Receipts Then try installing it again.
