Problem installing! something to do with Quicktime?!?!?
 

Im really new to mac, about 1 day new!
im trying to install lime wire
but when i try to open it it tells me that quick time is unable to read the file
i have Panther OS

You should look at the Sticky at the top of this section. Basically, you have an incomplete installer file & mac osx doesn't know what type of file it is. What you need to do is re-downld it using a different browser. The one browser that's reliable for downlding dmg files is Safari. You'll find it in your applications folder.
