Freezes when i get to "loading user interface"

I've downloaded limewire multiple times. IT downloads fine but when i try to open it keeps gettin stuck here. I'm going crazy. I'm not too good with computers and i've been trying for like 2 years to get stupid limewire 4.9 to work. I used to have a slightly older version on my old mac. AGHH!

Well I have the same problem. I have an ibook G3 800mzh, 10.3.9, the latest java update and I have done all the steps to fix java issues that is recommended in the apple kb article wich is refrenced on the limewire website. I don't know what this is related to but I have removed prefrences and reinstalled the application. no love

sounds like you are doing everything right.

Did you also try the "safe boot" after shutting down for two minutes or so?

Oh--maybe this will help "kick start" java: Go to the Utilities folder, find the java folder, and try double-clicking the "web start" or applet launcher there.

If those work, try LW again (and let us know if that helps or not)
