New Router/Ultrapeer

I used to use a MacScence router and I upgraded to a Linksys EtherFast Router Model BEFSR81.

I am using Limewire 4.9.37 Pro sharing over 500 files. Disable Ultrapeer is not selected and I have it manual forward port 6346. Using 10.4.2 OSX.

Got a 4 MB/s cable modem.

In the router settings. Under port range forwarding I am forwarding 6346, Both Protacalls, to my static I.P. Address.

However, I can't be an Ultrapeer, what's the problem?

Anyone know how I can fix this?

AFAIK Ultrapeering depends upon whether the network decides it is in need of more UP's. Give it time & you may well find that you will become a UP. Someone alse may have more to add about this.

I have now left it on for 24 hours straight and it's not making me an Ultrapeer. In the good old days it would just do it automatically after about an hour. Sometimes as soon as I loaded Limewire. I think it's this new Firewall detection, it sucks, I got all my ports open and can be an Ultrapeer but it sees the firewall and tells me to go to H**L.
