Firewire is found, Can't download files
 

I looked at the instructions about Limewire and Firewalls. It says to add a new fireware feature that includes the limewire/gnutella selection. This does not show up on my Tiger 10.4.2

Does this tell me that Limewire is not supported for Tiger now? There is a need to get this problem solved. I am using LimeWire Pro and the very newest version. Not too long ago, it all worked fine. I made no changes to my system or neetwork connections. This is a BIG problem!

I just paid, again, for LimeWire Pro just to make sure that I am within the sic month limit for support for LimwWire Pro users. When I go to the "Support" window, I am asked for my email address under which I bought LimeWire Pro. I do this and then "submit" it only to be taken to the LimeWire Pro downloads window. Am I under the false assumption that support for LimeWire Pro people is the same as that for Basic users? At the bottom of the support window, it tells me that I should go to the Forums for support. I don't understand this. Why two DIFFERENT support options id they really only want me to use the Forums that everyone else gets to use?

I'm not sure what you mean. At the Support site you click on the Support for Pro users. Then you have options for selecting type of help you want. The 1st of which is technical help. There's then drop down menus for describing your set up & type of problem & a box to describe your problem.

You might be having an issue with your browser. Try deleting your browser cache.

As to your problem, I don't have tiger so i can't describe the difference. But the normal process is System preferences>Sharing>press Firewalls tab & click new button. Then choose 'Other' & describe it as Limewire/Gnutella & type in port 6346.
