Nfullerstar is flying high
Default Itunes library disappears, I'm stumped.

My limewire for Mac OS X, recently had an internal error, which I reported, it slowed down a bunch, kept getting that annoying wheel, then when I restarted the computer, it said that there were damaged files where it saved somewhere and then when I went into my itunes library, it was stripped of songs, there were still some in there, but most gone. I'm confused because most of those songs were downloaded via CD not limewire, and the limewire ones are still saved I think in Limewire folders. Can anyone help this confused little girl PLEEASE!!! Thank you!!

Use Disk Utility to check your HDD (you'll find it in your Utilities folder ... use the Go on the menu bar). You may need more than this to recover any files I don't know. But it sounds like corrupt directory on the drive. Other utilities that are good for this are Disk Warrior, Norton Utilities (despite what people say, I've found it to be the best to correct directory damage on both internal & external drives), & TechTool Pro.

BTW if you had have posted in the appropriate section on the forum then you would have received a speedy response. I found it whilst cleaning up.
