Firewall Detected / Port Forwarding / router settings

I've been searching the OSX forum on firewall and port forwarding issues but haven't found a response to this question....
If Limewire detects a firewall, but I am able to share P2P already, are there any port forwarding settings for my router that will open up the firewall for even better P2P access for my LimeWire Experience? Any suggestions, links, further discussion would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

I'm running OSX Tiger latest version on a G5 Imac using Limewire Pro. I am connected to the internet via an ethernet cable attached to a Belkin router.

Best portforwarding guide I've ever been to (then again, I haven't been to many such guides...). You can just click routers then select your router from the list and then the application you want to configure it for, but I also recommend reading the explanations about port-forwarding and stuff...
