Default Magnet threads

Hi! I'm using eDpro 4.10.9, and java 1.4.2_03. on a Mac OSX 10.3.5., with ADSL 512k (but on the end of a line)...
It seems for the moment (since I upgraded to the new version of LWpro), that every thing freezes : much more trouble in the search (looks like the CPU is to short... every click takes ages to result in something, trying to open a popup menu has no effect before at least 40 seconds! etc...
something else is that the downloads are at 0 all the time : it tries to connect... all the steps, and finally: "failure to download" (it may be different words since I translate it from the french). It was working fine before, though (but I'd try to very attentively config. it according to the Forum answers)...The uploads are working about fine, but not too high, around 4 to 10 ks ( I put a max at 50ks, and with only 10 uploaders to allow them more speed).
Let's come now to my second enquiry. To upload, I propose about 18gigas of videos, and also some MP3 music, and I wisch to favorize the music, since there is so little of real classical (I mean that many pieces on the search, annonced "classical" are in fact light music or, variety players playing classical pieces, and then, only the title is original ! ex: the Klayderman's, Rieux etc...) so, when I see someone trying to download from me a piece or an other, I'd like to give them a little push to help. On the eDonkey client, one can add a priority, as well for the uploads and the for the downloads : low, normal and high, and of course, pause and resume like here. I didn't find anything of that sort... I tried for a short time, to unshare all the films, thinking it would give more band to the "music pumpers", but it helped only a tiny bit, so, I came back to the film sharing, for the waiting crowd. it is at that moment that I discovered (in the corner of a wrong manœuvre) that there is such a things as magnet threads and a magnet file... I don't really know what they are, but suspect they can be very usefull to solve my second problem. I've try to find some data about it using search, but found only three posts mentionning it, and not really adapted to my query.
Is it possible with it to make some uploads faster... or else, is there a way to let those uploaders directly connect to me and giving them in 2 tics what they wish?
I'd just like to add about my first problem (Download at stop) that those files are not very numerous on the net, but, are present and so, I am prepared to wait a bit for them... but the best LW comes to, some time, is waiting for busy hosts, and then trying again to connect, busy hosts etc... (on 10 files, I had only 4% from one in few weeks!) It seems surprising that those people would be all that time busy (few weeks now!) and, why, if they are on the net, can't I connect to them. And, as a cherry on the cake, during all that time, I've got the indication : turbo-charged-connection (!). eeack!
