How do I contact Limewire via e-mail? I bought and paid for Limewire and should have been able to download Limewire Pro, but when I try to download Limewire Pro I get a message saying my e-mail address is not registered for the product.

Thank you for your pm. No that is not the official site you purchased LW from. I doubt you have LW Pro but LW basic instead. Follow the suggestions in my pm reply.

BTW LW sales support send an email with your link to your personal download page for pro. See if you still have it. And remember next time to bookmark the page. ;) They give discounts to renew Pro over last month of 6 month period.

does anyone know now to get rid of the "only searches with the (padlock) are official limewire communications" bar in the search table? its kind of annoying...

I paid for the new version of Limewire Pro and I have not been able to download it. I am familiar with the "NO Refund" policy, all I want is a link that works, so that I can download Limewire Pro.

Have you checked your cc statements to see who you paid the money to? If it was not directed specifically to Lime Wire LLC, then unfortunately you paid your money to a probable scam site. In that case cancel transaction via your cc company & get your money back claiming it was a fraud business transaction.

It was through free limewire that I paid for Limewire Pro. And I also received a confirmation page from limewire with the link to the download page. When I click on the link on the download page, nothing happens

Which version of Pro do you have?
A court injunction is preventing LW from distributing their software. Also most of their servers have been shut down. In effect they are in a way shutdown yes. But the company has not closed. They are working with the RIAA to keep afloat is last thing I read. That means LW will not be the same & will probably become as Bearshare, Shareaza & iMesh became The Story: Shareaza, iMesh, RIAA, and Recent Events

I replied to your original post here email (click on link). Ouch! Sounds to me like you were scammed. Any place selling LW Pro is a fraud & scam site. I recommend you cancel the credit card transaction as soon as possible. Explain to your CC company it was a fraud.

Be aware, some scam sites will make repeated charges on your card. :( So explain this to VISA support when you speak to them to be sure they disallow further transactions from that scam group.
